“As others have eluded to, a brilliant contrast to the simplicity of TMB refuges, We decided to book in on our second to last hiking day after 32km. We felt extremely welcome by the non-judgemental staff. The hotel is located right across from a bar with great cocktails and decent food. Breakfast was nice, the pastries were fresh and there was a good selection.”
“We loved and enjoyed our stay. Very clean & equipped. Friendly and helpful staff. Extremely close to the one of best ski slopes in Chamonix. Accessible to go everywhere by bus. Highly recommended. Rooms aren’t too big but very well designed with closets and storage. Newly renovated and everything feels clean and new. Ski storage was on lower level very convenient access. Has sauna and restaurant and game room. We booked close to ski season so price was a bit higher than we expected but I imagine if you book in advance you can get more reasonable price. Kids loved the complementary hot chocolate machine. We almost purchased crepe from front everyday. Staff were extremely nice and helpful.”
“This hotel is fabulous - clean, cosy, modern, good location! Definitely feels more like a 4 star hotel than 3. The sauna downstairs is excellent to have after a day on the slopes. I also got a massage with Emma and it was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend staying here!”
“We absolutely loved the Hôtel de La Couronne. I thought the value of the hotel was quite high for the reasonable price. I was impressed. They staff was very helpful with questions in advance of our stay and once we arrived, the convenience was awesome! Lift tickets loaded each day in the locker room - so cool! We had dinner in the restaurant and found the food and the staff delightful. The location in Argentiére is ideal - we walked to the gondola and also to all the restaurants and bars in town. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but the spread looked very generous. We opted for coffee and croissants at the bakeries near the hotel. Oh and happy hour they have a crêpe wagon on the patio. Charming! All in all, I will be recommending this hotel to family, friends and clients and hop to stay there again.”
